Well we finally come to the conclusion of our trip.  Although we were a bit disappointed in how we played I think we can all say it was a blast.  Looking through some of the old pictures gave me a chuckle (most notably the one of Pally with his signs that Te made for him).  In case you were wondering about the porno peddling taxi cab driver that happened on Day 4 as well.  It was quite possibly the highlight of the trip, at least for story telling purposes.  Enjoy the last oldie but goodie writeup of our 2006 trip to Taipei to compete in the first Guild Wars World Championship.

And so halfway through our trip to Taipei we come up on our Day 3 diary.  This was the first time Idiot Savants [iQ] had played in a tournament setting where people were actually watching.  As luck would have it we had our first match up against EvIL, a team we really expected would be big push overs   Overall, it was another fun day packed with GW mania and possibly a little panic, more girls, and more sites around Taipei (oh, and the food was also still good).

And a little more blast from the past with our day 2 diary on the first Guild Wars World Championship in Taipei.  This one comes to us courtesy of Scaphism who originally put it together back in February of 2006.  Day 2 brings the first day of actual Guild Wars matches with Te vs. LuM and EvIL vs. Val.  It also brought more game show exhibition hall, more good food, more booth babes and more site seeing in Taipei.  Enjoy!

Welcome to the new Team-iQ Website!  After a long hiatus the site is back up and reinvented.  Since most of us have moved on from playing Guild Wars we’ve decided to bring the site back as a more general gaming site.  Team-iQ.com (no longer Team-iQ.net due to some domain squatting crap) will be focused on PvP gaming to include table-top gaming, trading card games, and basically anything else we find amusing or fun to play.
